Adelaide - ABC 891
Fantastic to be interviewed in my old home city of Adelaide. Mornings with Ali Clarke on ABC 891 is a wonderful show and it was a privilege to be included.

Adelaide - 5AA
Kicking off my book launch in Adelaide meant a lot - it was home for so long before moving to Melbourne.
I grew up listening to Jeremy Cordeaux so doing this interview with him on 5AA was definitely special.

Radio National - Life Matters
Radio is such a personal way to communicate and connect. It was lovely chatting with Ellen Fanning about my own mother (or should that be ‘mothers’?) story.

Thanks - Lawrence Mooney! You’ve been so generous with your time and sharing your story to support Things My Mother Taught Me and it was great to hear you talking about it on RN too.

Come along and find out more about Claire’s own personal story as an adopted person seeking a connection with her own birth mother and what she discovered from listening to the personal experiences of so many interesting Australians.

Celebrating Mums
Mother’s Day 2016 is over but…isn’t your mum worth celebrating EVERY day? Express post will speed a copy of Things My Mother Taught Me your way, as part of a spicy gift bundle, PLUS you’ll be supporting the work of Sunrise Cambodia and the incredible Geraldine Cox.
You can also keep up-to-date with other news and media appearances via my FaceBook page.
Fiona Patten
On Mother’s Day 2016, Fiona Patten’s interview from TMMTM appeared as an extract in the Life & Style section in the Sydney Morning Herald and Canberra Times.
Kathy Lette
I loved that the Kathy Lette chapter from TMMTM was extracted on Mother’s Day 2016 and appeared in the Sunday Style section of the News Limited papers across the country. Great publicity, for sure. Would have been a bit better if they had actually included my name as the author of the book but…suppose you can’t have everything...
Channel 10’s Studio 10 morning show - April 26
Jessica Rowe snorts when she laughs and it made me giggle every time. My stint as guest panellist for an entire episode of Studio 10 was great fun and the opportunity to promote my book (and meet a publishing icon, Ita Buttrose) was incredible. People who know me well know that I do like to share my opinion…and on this show, the topics are definitely varied.
(Glad my vain desire to have my nails done paid off when that close-up of my hands playing with a very cute kitten revelaed perfectly manicured hands, instead of my usual computer keyboard-wearied fingernails.)
A daily online radio show for mums? Brilliant! Thanks, Kinderling, for taking the time to talk to me about the way mums make a difference...
Naomi Simson’s Blog
She’s a busy woman so I appreciate that she squeezed an appearance at my Sydney book launch with Benjamin Law into the mix on April 26
